Terms & Conditions

By placing an order with Bundaberg Fasteners (ABN: 15 915 160 832), you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out on this page. By purchasing from us, you are entering a legally binding contract between yourself as a customer and Bundaberg Fasteners (trading under bundabergfasteners.com.au and associated accounts) as your supplier of product and services.

These terms and conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Queensland, with both parties subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.  These terms and conditions cannot be changed unless agreed by Bundaberg Fasteners in writing or in email form.

Ordering

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the item from our website under our terms and conditions.  At this point, there is no acceptance by Bundaberg Fasteners to supply any product. Bundaberg Fasteners reserves the right to refuse service; terminate service; remove or edit contents; or cancel and refund an order at their sole discretion.  If your order cannot be accepted or processed, you will be contacted by email or phone.

You must be at least 18 years of legal age to order products from Bundaberg Fasteners.  By agreeing to the terms and conditions and ordering from us, you are acknowledging that you are 18 years old or above.  You must also elect to have products sent to an Australian postal address as we do not ship overseas at this time.

Currency, GST and Price

All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST).  All prices are  inclusive of GST within shipping costs. Shipping cost is shown separately and is calculated based on your location and product type.  No refund will be applicable if a product you have purchased becomes available at a lower price. We reserve the right to change the price on our advertised products without any prior notice.  This is one of the ways we update and keep our prices competitive at all times.

Payment

Bundaberg Fasteners currently only accepts payment methods mentioned below:

Paypal & Stripe

Use as direct transfer from your Paypal account to our paypal account; or

Use as a payment gateway and pay by Visa or Mastercard.

Electronic Transfer (bank deposit, internet bank transfer, direct debit)

Payment will only be processed when all necessary information is provided.  Please make sure you have assisted in providing the correct information on all necessary fields. PayPal and credit card payments are processed instantly the moment you click confirm order button.  If the payment has been processed, verified and confirmed by PayPal or Stripe, we will send you a payment confirmation email along with the purchase order. We supply the tax invoice with the delivered goods on arrival.

Electronic Transfer will take 2 to 3 working days for payment confirmation.  Please take this into consideration when you choose this payment method if available.

Our business hours are between Monday to Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm, excluding QLD public holidays.  Orders made during the weekend or public holiday will not be processed until the next business day.

Dispatch and Delivery

If you are registered user, you can log in to your account to view the current status of your order.  When our orders are dispatched, you will receive an auto-generated email from us indicating the courier company we used, as well as the associated tracking number.  If you did not receive the item within the estimated delivery period and the tracking number provided is not helping, please contact us.  All items will be delivered to the shipping address provided unless otherwise agreed by us.  Bundaberg Fasteners will take reasonable care to dispatch your order within the estimated dispatch time frame provided in our listing.

The estimated shipping time frame is 1-6 business days after dispatch, depending on the shipping address and is subject to the limitations of our third party delivery companies. As such, we do not guarantee that the item will be delivered within the estimated delivery time frame. Unless you have opted for postal insurance, we cannot guarantee you will be compensated for any loss or damage in transit. The decision to compensate for a lost of damaged parcel will depend on the third party courier.

VIC: 2-5 business days after dispatch

QLD: 1-3 business days after dispatch

SA: 3-5 business days after dispatch

WA: 3-6 business days after dispatch

Damaged Goods

For items damaged in transit, you should advise us within one business day of receiving the item and email a photo of the damaged product and packaging. Once we arrange the return of the damaged product, we will send you a replacement unit or provide you with a full refund.

Order Amendment or Cancellation – requested by customer

We cannot guarantee changes to your order can be made once it has been paid for. An order cannot be amended or cancelled without prior written approval from Bundaberg Fasteners.  Changing of shipping address, product or quantity after you have paid are examples of amendments that need prior approval from us.  You may not assume that we have to do so upon receiving your request.  We reserve the right to approve or reject any requests for order amendment or cancellation based on your reasons; whether the time you provided for us to make the amendment or cancellation is reasonable; and presence of any delay from our side causing this request.

Please note that while your emails are important to us, they may not be read immediately after they are sent, so we do not assume responsibility for amending or cancelling on grounds that you emailed us shortly after paying for the order. If your order has already been shipped, you may return your order, you must contact management from Bundaberg Fasteners first for approval. We may also charge additional shipping costs if we need to resend your parcel for reasons including but not limited to the customer’s change of mind, an incorrect address, the parcel being unclaimed or a purchase made in error.

Order Cancellation – by Bundaberg Fasteners

We reserve the right to cancel orders any time at our own discretion. If you have already paid for the order, we will issue a full refund or offer an equivalent or substitute product to you at our agreed price.

If a product becomes unavailable, we may cancel the order and either offer you a substitute brand or refund your payment as soon as possible.

Accuracy of Information

Although we endeavour to take all reasonable steps to ensure that information published on our website is correct, our system is not fail safe and errors can occur. As such, information may change without prior notice. Bundaberg Fasteners will not hold liability for advertising incorrect information caused by a system failure or manufacturer error.

Refunds

Refunds will only be made to the original Paypal or bank account of purchase.  If you paid with credit card, the refund will be made to the linked Paypal account. If you do not have a Paypal login, you can contact your credit card issuer for more details. A maximum purchase limit by unit may be imposed.

Promotions

Promotions by Bundaberg Fasteners are deemed to be finished when stock runs out or the promotion period expires, whichever comes first.  A maximum purchase limit by unit may be imposed.

Warranty

Without prejudice and to the extent allowed by the Trade Practices Act 1974, The Australian Consumer Law and Competition and Consumer Act 2010, all hardware sold by Bundaberg Fasteners meets various global industry standards (e.g Australian Standard).

Any defective products purchased from Bundaberg Fasteners and affiliates that fall within their warranty policy will be covered, unless they fall within the following conditions:

  • Physical Damage on the product not caused in the event during transit or Dead on Arrival (DOA) but caused due to mishandling, incorrect use of product for its purposes, improper installation of product, by accident, insect or vermin infestation, improper method or failure to maintain service and handle the item with reasonable care.
  • The product has been modified using unauthorised methods.
  • The warranty seal or serial number of the item has been tampered with.

Credits in “My Account”

From time to time, there may be situations where we need to provide a credit due to promotions rebate or replacement of products.

Vouchers and Coupons

If you receive or purchase a voucher from us, it will appear in your “My account” page.  This is another form of credit offered by Bundaberg Fasteners that can be applied towards the payment of orders under the terms and conditions of each voucher issued.  Vouchers are applied towards the payment before any other form of payments.  Any excess of vouchers may be used for subsequent orders depending on the terms and conditions of voucher issued.  Any balance remaining on the order after applying the voucher in your account, need to be paid off using other payment methods outlined in the payment methods section above.

Change of Mind Returns

If you change your mind about a purchase, it is at our discretion whether we accept a return for refund. We will generally accept a return provided you contact us within 7 days of receiving the product, the product is in their original condition, and the product is not used. Change of mind returns will only be eligible for a refund on the product’s sale price, and in some cases, a partial refund on the product’s sale price. If the product is not in its original condition but deemed resaleable by Bundaberg Fasteners, we may accept a return for refund and deduct 15% of the sales value from the final refund amount. All postage and insurance costs are to be paid by the customer.

Limited Liability

Bundaberg Fasteners and its affiliates will not be liable for any loss of income, loss of profits, loss of contracts, loss of data, or any indirect loss of damage or consequential loss in any event including negligence or breach of contracts.  The maximum liability for any product we sell to you shall be equal to the price you have paid for the product, and no higher value than that.

Bundaberg Fasteners does not accept liability for the following conditions, to the extent permitted by applicable laws:

  • Any damage or injury of any nature caused when using our purchased product, whether in the correct or incorrect way.
  • Any errors in our listing
  • Any unauthorised access to our secure server
  • Any warranty policies or representations regarding our suppliers quality, accuracy or information about their product.
  • Any spyware, viruses, Trojan horses or other harmful codes transmitted to the website by any third party.

Statutory and Warranty
